Rich Ross is currently a full time member, bassist and manager of the Freddy Jones Band.

In junior high, Rich started playing bass and realized he had a musical destiny. While in high school, Rich was hired to play in Denver based punk band, Innocent Addiction. During that time, he also taught bass to aspiring musicians at Crescendo Music alongside Chris Broderick – who went on to play for Megadeth/In Flames. That experience laid the groundwork for more work in progressive metal rock bands over the years.

Rich has toured nationally with The Samples, Freddy Jones Band, Phi Vassar, Josh Gracin, Rich O’Toole, Potemkin/Square, Xiren, and many more.

A dedicated musician, Rich has a vast array of musical influences which include funk, rock, R&B, and pop. Rich performs a style of play that meshes well with any gig today, while bringing a sense of excitement and originality to the stage.

Freddy Jones Band is best known for their number one hits including “In a Daydream” and “One World”.
”Never Change” is brand new music produced by three-time Grammy winning producer Justin Niebank.

The bass is the link between harmony and rhythm. It is the foundation of a band. It is what all the other instruments stand upon, but it is rarely recognized as that. – Victor Wooten
